Create Multiple Sites under 1 Account!
Loforo now supports multiple sites/blogs under 1 login! You no longer need to log in and out of your account to switch sites.
To create a new site under your existing account, go to the dropdown menu in the top right and click the "New Site" link. That's it! There's no step 2.
To switch between accounts, use the dropdown at the top of the menu in the top right.
If you already have multiple sites at Loforo, send us an email and we'll be happy to merge the sites into 1 account -- be sure to include the list of sites you want merged (the Loforo domain names) and the email login you want them added to.
There is currently a limit of 3 sites per account.
Coming soon: Groups(!)
im not sure if im blind or dumb xD but i don't see where i should be able to switch accounts in the drop down menu.
I can't find the option to switch sites either (using Firefox).
It only appears after you create a site by clicking the New Site link in the menu at the top right. After you do that you’ll see a drop down menu at the very top of the list in the menu at the top right.
@pho3nix / @tronic Found why you all weren't seeing the dropdown -- I had made it to where only I see the dropdown while coding it and forgot to remove that when I pushed it live. Fixed now, everyone should see the dropdown now. :)
yes, its fixed now :)
the next big thing would be, to have that dropdown also for the repost function. just how it was on soup, that I can repost something to any of my blogs, regardless of which I am right now.
@phoenix good idea I’ll add that to the todo
can we get the blogs avatar beside the dropdown menu, that we knew with which blog were on right now?
@phoenix sure we’ll work on that
@phoenix You can now repost to any site in your account with the repost button now
@phoenix Avatar of the site you've selected is now in the top right also
Really nice, thx!
when I'm using a secondary blog and repost things to my main blog, the repost shows up in that secondary blog instead of the main one
@ph0enix checking now.
@ph03nix Should be fixed now
Is it possible to implement groups too? So we (and every other member) can easily post to group with ease from our profiles?
@8agienny Check out the last line of this post :)
Ah, the fine print! Alright!
Ah, one last thing, using angle brackets is causing anything from the open_angle_bracket to be cut. I think it's being treated as a HTML tag - can we fix this? :)
@8agienny This bug has been mentioned before but I haven't got around to fixing it yet. Will try to prioritize it.
Perfect, thanks!
@8agienny Fixed now 👍
<3 indeed!
