A Year of Loforo
Loforo went live a little over a year ago and we've had some pretty explosive growth thanks to you all.
Some Numbers
- Over 2 million posts in the past year
- ~800K posts imported from Soup users
- Thousands of sites created
- 940,000+ unique photos & videos uploaded
- 600+ GB of media hosted
We've rolled out a bunch of features over the past year based on your input and have many others in the works (archive view, mobile app, etc).

One feature I would love is dark mode while browsing, not just on my page

Here are some feature ideas:
-own css for my blog
-ability to reach cut-off blogs in repost menu
-open backlog/planned features
-filtering notifications
-filtering own posts to access old drafts more easily
-"@" notifications
-notification if someone commented after my own comment

@ph03nix The repost menu getting cut off on short posts should be fixed now. Let me know if it doesn't work or looks wrong.

awesome, helped me through the year a lot. i would have only one request: some way to communicate directly with others,like exchanging mailaddresses or so,without posting those contactinfos public.

we need notifications, people comment on the post but we cannot chat with other people, they comment unilaterally, they do not get notifications about a reply, and it is not possible to mark someone on a nickname, when you are replying people receive no notification
Is there aby possibility to delete account on Loforo?

DARK MODE
What do you think about splitting the notification into section? With a large number of likes and reposts, comments from other users get lost.
@krolik I've now released the notification filter that lets you filter notifications by type.
@blog for me, the notification filter and the post filter does not work. I can choose it in the dropdown, but nothing changes. I disabled all the browser plugins that possibly could interfere with that, but it still doesn't work.
Any ideas?
@ph03nix That's what I get for only testing in Firefox. I've recoded it so it works on Chrome/iOS now. I'll also fix the Post filter that was previously released that has the same issue in non-Firefox.
